Trish and Norman Parry welcome you to their Bed & Breakfast and Art Studio.

Chapel View was originally built as a Wesleyan Chapel in 1927 and has been sympathetically redesigned and modernised to create a comfortable home with unique bed and breakfast accommodation and an on-site art studio where we work.

Bed & Breakfast

The first floor has two suites (one double, one twin) designed exclusively for the use of our bed and breakfast guests. Both suites have a separate bedroom, sitting room and shower room. Each is equipped with Television, DVD player, WiFi, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities – so that your stay can be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Because of the building’s history and nature of its construction, each suite has its own quirky, individual style, which we feel adds to its charm.

There is ample off-road parking on our private driveway and you can start your day with the breakfast of your choice made from locally sourced produce (vegetarian and other dietary needs can be catered for on request).

Art Studio

We are both artists and divide our time between our own art practice and running the B&B and art workshops. If you are interested in art come along and see what we do in our studio; or even better, join in one of our creative workshops which we run on a regular basis.

Location

Chapel View is set in the quiet hamlet of Milton in Hadrian’s Wall country, an area ideal for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing or just simply exploring the historic and picturesque landscape. The attractive market town of Brampton is less than 2 miles away and there are many attractions, pubs and restaurants close by. The historic city of Carlisle with its castle, cathedral, museums and shops  is only 11 miles away and we are also well situated for those wanting to explore Cumbria, Northumberland or the Scottish borders – Brampton station is 1/2 a mile away and the M6 (J43 and J44) are only 15 minutes drive away.
